Bank of America + International Student
It is usually easy to transfer funds to people within Bank of America. However, if the recipient is a recently-arrived international student or anyone lacking a social security #, a zip code hack is required to initiate the transfer. When prompted for the recipient’s zip code, enter nine zeroes instead of the actual zip code. Based on a cursory Google search, this is not documented on any official bank web site.
